Ole Hotty Toddy's SEC Power Rankings 2/12

1. Florida (19-3, 9-1)

Florida got throttled by Arkansas in Fayetteville after climbing up to No. 2 in the country. They’re still the obvious cream of the SEC crop though.

LW: 1

This week: 2/12 Kentucky, 2/16 @ Auburn

2. Kentucky (17-6, 8-2)

After a shaky start, the Wildcats have won five straight. They may finally be meshing and maturing, big test on Tuesday night in Gainesville.

LW: 2

This week: 2/12 @ Florida, 2/16 @ Tennessee

3. Ole Miss (18-5, 7-3)

How can I put Ole Miss ahead of Missouri after Saturday? Ole Miss had a much better loss than Mizzou did to A&M.

LW: 4

This week: 2/13 @ Texas A&M, 2/16 Georgia

4. Missouri (17-6, 6-4)

Mizzou looked like the No. 10 team in the country that people thought they were at the beginning of the season on Saturday.

LW: 5

This week: 2/13 @ Mississippi State, 2/16 @ Arkansas

5. Alabama (15-8, 7-3)

Seven of the Tide’s ten conference games have been decided by four points or less. That doesn’t include the ugly 12-point loss to Auburn Wednesday.

LW: 3

This week: 2/12 @ Georgia, 2/16 South Carolina

6. Georgia (12-11, 6-4)

After winning five straight, UGA is above .500 for the first time since they were 1-0. This week will test whether or not they are for real.

LW: 6

This week: 2/12 Alabama, 2/16 @ Ole Miss

7. Arkansas (14-9, 5-5)

Arkansas shocked the world by blowing out Florida. They came back to Earth with an 18-point loss to Vandy.

LW: 7

This week: 2/13 @ Auburn, 2/16 Missouri

8. LSU (13-8, 4-6)

Edged out Vandy by a point before falling just short in Tuscaloosa.

LW: 8

This week: 2/14 @ South Carolina, 2/16 Mississippi State

9. Tennessee (12-10-, 4-6)

You have to think Cuonzo Martin’s seat is reaching the boiling point about now.

LW: 9

This week: 2/13 @ Vanderbilt, 2/16 Kentucky

10. Texas A&M (14-9, 4-6)

They’re giant killers. It’s too bad that they’re killed by Davids.

LW: 10

This week: 2/13 Ole Miss, 2/16 @ Vanderbilt

11. Vanderbilt (9-13, 3-7)

Vanderbilt lost three straight games by a combined six points before killing the Razorbacks.

LW: 11

This week: 2/13 Tennessee, 2/16 Texas A&M

12. Auburn (9-14, 3-7)

Limited Alabama to just 37 points and hung with Kentucky. Good week for the Tigers.

LW: 13

This week: 2/13 Arkansas, 2/16 Florida

13. South Carolina (12-11, 2-8)

That strong OOC start that pushed them well over .500 is wearing out. Quickly.

LW: 12

This week: 2/14 LSU, 2/16 @ Alabama

14. Mississippi State (7-15, 2-8)

The Bulldogs have lost six of their SEC games by at least 15 points. Sad days in the Hump lately.

LW: 14

This week: 2/13 Missouri, 2/16 @ LSU
