1. Florida (21-3, 11-1)

The Gators looked strong in their win over Kentucky, then blew out Auburn. They look to be in heavy contention for a 1 seed.

2. Alabama (17-8, 9-3)

Alabama has benefitted from a cupcake section of their schedule and they will need to continue to win those games in preparation for their back-to-back road trips with Florida and Ole Miss.

3. Ole Miss (19-6, 8-4)

Ole Miss dropped a heartbreaker in College Station, but showed good resiliency in a comeback win over the Dawgs in OT.

4. Kentucky (17-8, 8-4)

First the Wildcats lost Nerlens Noel for the season in a loss to Florida, then they lost by 30 to Tennessee. Something tells me their descent on this list will continue.

5. Arkansas (16-9, 7-5)

Arkansas moved their home SEC record to 6-0 while also winning their first road SEC game this year.

The Tigers slaughtered Mississippi State, but who hasn’t these days?

A 12-point win against the Commodores followed by a 30-point blowout of Kentucky? Good week for the Vols.

8. LSU (15-8 6-6)

A pair of blowout wins over the SEC’s cellar-dwellers. LSU’s got it a lot tougher from here on out.

Georgia hasn’t had a loss as tough as their one to Ole Miss in awhile.
