Ole Hotty Toddy’s SEC Power Rankings 2/26

1. Florida (22-4, 12-2)

The loss in Missouri hurt as the Gators led for most the game, but the revenge on Arkansas had to be nice.

LW: 1

This week: 2/26 @ Tennessee, 3/2 Alabama

2. Kentucky (19-8, 10-4)

Kentucky has the second longest winning streak in the SEC behind Tennessee, at two games.

LW: 4

This week: 2/27 Mississippi State, 3/2 @ Arkansas

3. Missouri (19-8, 8-6)

Both Alabama and Ole Miss have better records, but a win over Florida and an OT loss to Kentucky are more impressive.

LW: 6

This week: 2/28 @ South Carolina, 3/2 LSU

4. Alabama (18-9, 10-4)

Very unimpressive week for the Tide, they’ll have a chance to impress Saturday in Gainesville though.

LW: 2

This week: 2/26 Auburn, 3/2 @ Florida

5. Ole Miss (20-7, 9-5)

It’s hard not to think that if Aaron Jones were healthy, there’d be a few less losses. But South Carolina?

LW: 3

This week: 2/27 Texas A&M, 3/2 @ Mississippi State

6. Tennessee (16-10, 8-6)

The once left-for-dead Vols have won five in-a-row. A win vs. Florida on Tuesday night could make their season a little more interesting.

LW: 7

This week: 2/26 Florida, 3/2 @ Georgia

7. Arkansas (17-10, 8-6)

The Razorbacks are in Jay Bilas’s top 68 teams, but they absolutely need to prove themselves on the road.

LW: 5

This week: 2/27 @ LSU, 3/2 Kentucky

8. LSU (16-9, 7-7)

Outlasting Alabama in three overtimes is good enough to keep them here.

LW: 8

This week: 2/27 Arkansas, 3/2 @ Missouri

9. Georgia (13-14, 7-7)

A tough loss in Fayetteville, the Dawgs have a knack for playing tight ballgames.

LW: 9

This week: 2/27 @ Vanderbilt, 3/2 Tennessee

10. Texas A&M (16-11, 6-8)

Elston Turner gets another crack at the Rebels this week, a scary endeavor for Ole Miss.

LW: 10

This week: 2/27 @ Ole Miss, 3/2 South Carolina

11. Vanderbilt (11-15, 5-9)

Lost another tight one to Kentucky, that’s two losses to UK this year by a combined 6 points. Round three in the tournament would be interesting.

LW: 11

This week: 2/27 Georgia, 3/2 @ Auburn

12. South Carolina (13-14, 3-11)

It looked as if the Gamecocks were going to cut down the nets after they beat Ole Miss. The way this season is going, maybe they should’ve.

LW: 13

This week: 2/28 Missouri, 3/2 @ Texas A&M

13. Auburn (9-18, 3-11)

They’ve lost their last two Saturday games by a combined 64 points.

LW: 12

This week: 2/26 @ Alabama, 3/2 Vanderbilt

14. Mississippi State (7-19, 2-12)

Losing by 41 at home to any opponent is bad, but to a sub-.500 conference opponent is just wretched.

LW: 14

This week: 2/27 @ Kentucky, 3/2 Ole Miss
