Possible playing time in 2013: There are a lot of receivers ahead of Jones at the moment, but it is no secret that Hugh Freeze likes to dig deep into the depth chart so he can still see the field. Laquon Treadwell is hard to keep on the sidelines so he will see the field from the start, but there is a possibility to earn some snaps. His real time will be in 2014 or 2015 after the departures of Moncrief, Logan, Sanders and the majority of the receivers.

Wrap-up: The number one job that receivers need to do, Jones does very well and that is he catches the ball. His hands are terrific and he rarely drops balls in-game. Not a terrific route runner, but it looks as though he can be a huge asset for Bo Wallace to throw to in broken plays. His knack for finding space is uncanny. He’s been compared by some around the area as Shay Hodge-like which is unfair to the kid as well as Hodge. There is good reason to feel like this kid can produce while he’s in Oxford and provide a terrific compliment to Treadwell.
