2012 season: Bailey was redshirted in 2012 after transferring from Coahoma Community College. After a stellar freshman season that saw him earn second-team all-state honors, Bailey tore his ACL during the 2011 season and missed all but two games.

Value: There is a big void left on the Rebel offensive line with the departure of AJ Hawkins who was an integral part of the 2012 unit that helped the Rebels average 31.5 ppg. The replacement appears to be senior Patrick Junen who has played in 35 games and starting in 11 of them, all at left guard. Junen has been dealing with a toe injury that can be pesky to offensive lineman so depth is important at the guard spot. Junior Aaron Morris missed the spring while recovering from shoulder surgery which makes the depth even more vital. Bailey will not be needed right away, but there is no doubt that he will have to be ready if someone goes down and he is called upon.
