The 2014 Ole Miss football season is just around the corner. Now that we have hit the 45 day mark until kickoff, we are going to countdown the most valuable Rebel players this season. Their rankings are based on their positions and how much of an impact they will bring to the table. Today on the countdown is…

2013 Season: While attending Holmes last season, Tee Shepard recorded 54 tackles, one interception, two fumble recoveries and six pass breakups. He flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to Ole Miss going right into the 2014 National Signing Day.

The Value: It is no longer a concern, Tee Shepard had passed his class at Holmes and is now enrolled at Ole Miss. Tee Shepard will come into the 2014 Ole Miss season adding great talent to an already amazingly built Rebel secondary. This secondary might just be one of the best we’ve seen in a long time. Shepard will bring speed, length, great tackling skills, and amazing playmaking abilities to the table for the Rebels. I could see Tee Shepard possibly making some starts this upcoming season, possibly at boundary corner with Derrick Jones backing him up. There is no question that this Ole Miss defense is going to be exciting to witness and Tee Shepard just adds more to that excitement.
