NFL Offensive Lineman Laremy Tunsil is still the elite pass protector that we all learned to love at Ole Miss.

Laremy Tunsil has played in two preseason games so far this season with the Miami Dolphins. Tunsil was the 13th pick in the 1st round of the 2016 NFL Draft last May, and has been seeing some time at the guard position for the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins have been adamant about Tunsil having to earn his way onto the field, but after seeing some the statistics that Tunsil has been putting up, I imagine he will “earn it” pretty soon.

Tunsil continues to be the elite protector that he was at Ole Miss.

"“His mental game and the playbook,” veteran Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert told me are the areas in which Tunsil has shown the most growth. “He knows what he’s doing. All I tell him is ‘Know your plays. Know what you’re doing. Be dependable.’”"

Miami head coach Adam Gase had some comments on Tunsil and his improvements as a NFL starting lineman.

"“I think he did a pretty good job,” Gase said. “We had a few things that we have to clean up with him. When you look at him, pass (protection) is not going to be something that’s he really going to really have an issue with. It’s just sometimes in the run game when you’re in different parts of the field, there’s different angles you have to take, sometimes you have to come off quicker on some of the double teams.”"

The Dolphins are playing in their third preseason game on Thursday in Orlando. They face off against the Atlanta Falcons.
