Ole Miss wide receiver Damore’a Stringfellow declared that he would forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

Former Washington Huskie, Damore’a Stringfellow, has declared that he would enter the NFL draft. Stringfellow will finish his collegiate career with 1478 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

The NFL draft class this year will feature some good receivers, including Stringfellow. Mike Williams from Clemson, Corey Davis from Western Michigan, and Malachi Dupre from LSU will all headline this year’s wide receiver class.

Ole Miss has had a reputation for putting receivers in the league. From Mike Wallace to Donte Moncrief to Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss has always had some elite receivers.

DK Metcalf and AJ Brown will look to replace Stringfellow’s production next season, as Shea Patterson will begin his first full season as a Rebel.

Ole Miss will hope to have Cam Akers in the backfield with Patterson, wearing Stringfellow’s old number 3.

Ole Miss currently has two receivers committed to the 2017 class, D.D. Bowie from Morton, MS and RJ Sneed from Texas.

This is the one position that Ole Miss can afford to lose some experience at.

The Ole Miss passing game will lose Evan Engram, Quincy Adaboyejo, and Damore’a Stringfellow, all three vital pieces.

Look for some of the young guys to take on a heavier load next season. Damarkus Lodge is a name to watch for.
