Ole Miss Makes Top 3 For 4-star CB Chevin Calloway

Ole Miss made the top-3 teams for 4-star defensive back Chevin Calloway. The Rebels are joined by Arkansas and Texas on the list.
Ole Miss needs a boost in football recruiting and Chevin Calloway might be the answer.
A 4-star defensive back from Dallas, TX has named Ole Miss as one of the top-3 teams for his commitment.
Calloway visited Ole Miss over the past weekend on an unofficial visit. He says that he plans to make two more official visits this year and that Ole Miss could earn one of those visits.
Calloway has made visits to Texas and Ole Miss and plans on visiting Arkansas in January.
He was originally committed to Iowa in the summer, but decided to decommit due to the fact that Iowa does not allow their committed players to visit other schools.
Arkansas has been considered the favorite for Calloway, but with the hire of Wesley McGriff, a defensive back coach, Ole Miss could get more involved in his recruitment.
Texas is hoping that new head coach Tom Herman can get the Longhorns more involved with Calloway, but Arkansas is still leading for his LOI.

Of the three schools, Arkansas is probably the more stable school, due to the fact that Texas and Ole Miss are going through major coaching changes.
Ole Miss needs some elite defensive backs, and Calloway could be the answer at the position.
It could all rely on if Ole Miss retains defensive backs coach Jason Jones, or if they go another direction.
Chevin Calloway is ranked 116th nationally according to 247sports, and is the 12th ranked cornerback in the nation.
