Former Ole Miss wide receiver Cody Core helped lead the Cincinnati Bengals to a 27-10 victory to end the Bengals season.

The season may be over for Cody Core and the Cincinnati Bengals, but today’s win could be a sign of what is to come.

Cody Core led the Bengals with 4 receptions for 82 yards against the Baltimore Ravens. Core has yet to catch his first career touchdown pass.

Next season could be a big step for Core in his NFL career. He could legitimately make an argument that he should be the second receiver on the team.

AJ Green will be the #1 guy in Cincy for now, but Core is a good, young second option.

The Bengals will have the ninth pick in 2017 NFL draft. Do they draft a quarterback to replace Andy Dalton.

While I do not think that Dalton needs to be replaced, some Cincinnati fans are upset that the team has yet to take the second step.

Fansided’s NFL mock draft currently has Cincinnati taking Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster.

While most NFL fans wait for Laquon Treadwell to take over as a dominant receiver, Core is quietly taking over.

Core’s speed is one of the main reasons for his success in the league.

If Cincinnati can put the pieces together next season, Core could end up in the NFL playoffs. They have the talent, but can Marvin Lewis coach them to a playoff appearance.
