The Grove Bowl left Ole Miss football fans praising the offensive side of the ball while remaining a little skeptical about the defensive side. However, there is more defensive help coming in the Summer.

The Ole Miss football team went through a tumultuous season last year on the defensive side of the ball. During this year’s Grove Bowl the defense looked over-matched against the great wide receivers on the Rebel’s offense. The defensive line looked good but there were still questions behind them.

However, the good news about the defense is that there are several key recruits who have not reported to the team. Most of the players that played during the Grove Bowl were players from last year’s team and a handful of early enrollees. There are several players who will add to the depth and strengthen the quality of the defense.

Let’s take a look at some of the players that will be coming in during the summer. These players should be able to come in and make the defense a little better.
