Possible playing time in 2013: Since he does not have a true position yet, it is hard to figure where he will fit right away. Both positions are front-loaded and it will be tough for him to break into either right away. He is a great athlete who seeks out the football, making him ideal for special teams. I think he could see playing time immediately on that side of the ball, but as far as safety or receiver, I doubt it as of now.
Wrap-up: Bledsoe is a terrific athlete who did not receive other offers in part because of a broken collarbone his senior year, his early and solid commitment and the fact that he did not attend a camp other than Ole Miss. He has the body frame to be either a safety or a wide receiver and has the mentality to fit either. When the ball is in the air, he makes his move to the football expecting contact. On defense he makes a big hit if he cannot get to the football in time and on offense he embraces the hit. If Hugh Freeze opts to not use on him on special teams, a redshirt year to fit into either position would be very beneficial.
