It was a moment in 2013 that got Rebel Nation on the Henderson band wagon. In a back-and-forth battle for the win against Vanderbilt in the 2013 season, the Rebels were on the verge of being upset by Commodores. After Vandy nailed a three pointer in the final seconds to take a 78-75 lead over the Rebels. The Rebels last stand would be put into the hands of Henderson. As the buzzer sounded the end of the game, Henderson leaped in the air for a 35-foot three-point attempt to tie the game and send the Rebels and Commodores into overtime. Henderson would nail the three-point, and sent the entire arena into amazement and dis-belief. The Rebels would go on to beat the Commodores in overtime.
