Oregon State transfer Rommel Mageo heading to Ole Miss
By Brad Logan
Oregon State linebacker Rommel Mageo has fulfilled his time as a Beaver. The 6-2, 235-pound Mageo is heading to Oxford as a graduate transfer in a much needed position for Ole Miss. It was announced today, via Ole Miss assistant coach Ben Aigamaua. He will be able to play immediately, per Chuck Rounsaville.
According to Ben Garrett, Mageo totaled 157 tackles in four years and led the Beavers in tackling last season.
This is a welcomed addition to Ole Miss at linebacker. Per Red Cup Rebellion, Ole Miss lost C.J. Johnson, Denzel Nkemdiche and Christian Russell from last year’s team, and we all remember it missed on five-star Mique Juarez and JUCO David Luafatasaga both on Signing Day.
Oh, he’s really good.
