Fadol Brown

Though rising senior defensive lineman Fadol Brown’s name isn’t only any of the early mock drafts he is a name you should remember next Spring. At 6’4 and 280 pounds he is a physical specimen that can contribute on the interior of the line or on the edge.

While he has yet to show elite pass rushing skills, Brown has shown that he is strong and smart when it comes to containing the run game. He will be counted on to lead the Chris Kiffin’s unit this Fall and if he steps up the plate, it’s likely his draft profile will rise.

Each and every year there are prospects who go with little fanfare until it gets closer to the draft, and I expect a similar track for Brown. Though he posses elite size, injuries and playing around other star quality defensive lineman have restricted his potential stardom thus far in his career at Ole Miss, he must be the guy in 2016.

Brown is no different than some of the other seniors on this list. He has the talent to be a first rounder, but he has to take advantage of increased opportunity this fall to show that he can produce at a level that matches his talent.

At this point CBSsports.com ranks him as the #32 senior defensive end available in next year’s draft.
