DaMarkus Lodge – Sophomore

Rebels fans have been looking forward to seeing Lodge lead the Rebels offense since he signed with the team in 2015. After watching his high school highlight tape, I can understand why.

Lodge has been taking first-team snaps in spring practice, which is usually a sign that the coaches think he can make an impact this season.

Lodge is a quick receiver that can go up and get the ball from defenders, something he did in 2015 against UT-Martin. His only reception in his career at Ole Miss was a touchdown against the Skyhawks of Tennessee-Martin.

Look for Lodge to rack up some touchdowns this season. I expect him to bring in around 10 this season and will take over for Adeboyejo in 2017. Lodge is one of many reasons Rebel fans are excited about the future of the program.
