Markell Pack – Junior

Markell Pack is a name many Rebel fans know well. He feels like a veteran on a team of rookies, even though this is his junior year. Pack will be competing with RS-Freshman WR Van Jefferson for the starting slot receiver position.

This will be one of the most competitive battles on the team this year, and it will be interesting to see if Pack can beat out the young competition.

Pack has all of the traits of a starting slot receiver, but will have to show the coaching staff that he can continually out-run the defense.

I like for Pack to take the starting role early on, as the coaches usually have some loyalty to the vets on the team. But I think that Jefferson will eventually beat him out for the position, and that is why I have Pack listed behind the young gun.
