A.J. Brown, DK Metcalf, and Tre Nixon – Freshmen

The young trio of Brown, Metcalf, and Nixon have Rebel fans excited about the future of the team. Brown, a former Starkville HS standout, earned many fans when he spurned the hometown Bulldogs for the Rebels in 2016.

Metcalf, a legacy Rebel, looks to be the outside threat the Rebels have lacked. Metcalf is a physical receiver who will bang with any defensive back for position.

Nixon, a speedster from Florida, looks to be the future at the slot position. All three of these receivers have been working out together at Ole Miss, and look like they’re ready to go.

The Rebels future looks promising for these young guns. Expect even more offensive records to be broken in the future for the Rebs.
