Javon Patterson – Sophomore

Javon Patterson came into Ole Miss as a brash freshman who was ready to contribute early and often, something he handled very well. Patterson could very well start the season out at left tackle, but I think he is better fit for the guard position.

Patterson is a big time guard, low to the ground and stout. He is excellent in run protection and guarding the inside of the line. Patterson will be a very important piece for the Rebels this season. If he can show out this season, Chad Kelly will have tons of time in the backfield. Which is bad news for the rest of the SEC.
