Jordan Sims – Sophomore

The sophomore guard got to play in all 13 games last season, starting 4. That experience is key to Sims success. Sims, who came into Ole Miss overweight, has lost the pounds and is ready to tear it up on the gridiron.

The 6’4″ 334 offensive lineman is going to be key in the trenches for the Ole Miss offense. With the experience in the middle of the line with Patterson, Conyers, and Sims; I expect the Rebels to run the ball up the middle more this season. They have the backs to do so as well.

Sims is looking to lock down the right guard position for the future, something Ole Miss desperately needs.

Sims potential could push him into some NFL talk down the road. His low center of gravity makes it almost impossible to topple the big man. Sims does make a false step in the video above, but he recovers nicely and protects the quarterback.
