2016 Ole Miss Football Preview: Offensive Line
By Randy Morgan
Jeremy Liggins – Senior
Jeremy Liggins has been an odd case since day one. Most Rebel fans remember the former LSU Tiger/Northeast Tiger for committing to rivals LSU in Oxford. After failing to qualify at LSU, Liggins went to Northeast Community College where he played football for the Tigers.
After his season at Northeast, the QB transferred to Ole Miss, where most Rebel fans had low expectations of him. After joining the Rebels, Liggins has played in three different positions. Quarterback, tight end, and offensive lineman.
The utility player should be a solid choice for the right side of the offensive line. His quickness will help him get off of the line quickly and guard the fast edge rushers of the SEC.
Liggins will be sporting an all too familiar number for Ole Miss fans this season, the #78 that Laremy Tunsil made so famous in his three seasons with the Rebels.
