LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers bring one of the best players in college football to the table, running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette has been a highly touted player since his high school days. He is looking to lead the Tigers to another SEC championship and their first ever College Football Playoff appearance.

Randy –

The LSU Tiger football team is one of the most talented teams in the country. From offense to defense, the team is stacked. Leonard Fournette is looking to solidify his name as a first round NFL draft pick this season, while defensive stars Jamal Adams and Arden Key are looking to lock down offenses.

The Tigers also get their hardest games at home, in the real Death Valley. I think LSU has an impressive season, but it would not surprise me if Fournette gets fatigued again late in the season.

Prediction: 10-2; third in the SEC West

I think that LSU will lose to Ole Miss and Alabama, but besides that, the Tigers should have no problem. The matchup between Ole Miss and LSU could be a highly ranked matchup, as I have LSU coming into the game undefeated.

Kevin –

Brandon Harris may believe he is the best quarterback in the SEC but his play has yet to prove it. He does share the backfield with arguably the best back in the conference in Leonard Fournette. The defense will be good, but that first game against Wisconsin could be trouble. And that game in The Swamp against Florida is going to be tough.

Prediction: 9-3; third in the SEC West

Tucker –

LSU returns just about everyone from a team that disappointed last year and went 8-5. They recruit with the top dogs around the country and will for sure be much improved this year. The most glaring weakness however is the Achilles heel for this team.

The passing attack, led by Brandon Harris, has been sub par for a few years and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. They have great wide receivers, the best running back core in the country, and a great offensive line, but you can’t beat Alabama and Ole Miss if you don’t have a quarterback.

Prediction: 10-2; third in the SEC West

Tyler –

Several media outlets have LSU as the West winner and in the college football playoffs. I know LSU has Alabama type talent but they still have the same problem they’ve had the last few years. No quarterback. They have a Heisman candidate at running back in Leonard Fournette and very talented WR’s with Malachi Dupre and Travin Dural.

The LSU defense is very talented as well. LSU gets the West front-runners Alabama and Ole Miss at home but go on the road to play Florida and Arkansas. Until the Tigers find a consistent quarterback, 3rd place in the West is the best they can hope for. We’ll see if that is good enough for Les Miles to keep his job.

Prediction: 9-3; third in the SEC West
