2015 – Ole Miss 38 – Mississippi State 27

The 2015 Egg Bowl is a game that every Ole Miss fans remember. It was a blowout from the beginning. Just look at the box score.

The Rebels came out strong and fast. They forced QB Dak Prescott into fumbling the ball and took the game over from the beginning. This game was an important game in Coach Freeze’s tenure because it sent the Rebels to the Sugar Bowl, and gave Hugh his third win over Mississippi State.

While this game was an important one for the 2015 season, and many will dispute it being so low, but the win itself was not that impressive. This Ole Miss team should have easily defeated Mississippi State, even though it was in Starkville.

This will upset many fans, but it is true. The Rebels were the superior team, I think most Mississippi State fans will agree. Sorry we ruined Dak’s final home game.
