2013 – Ole Miss 39 – Vanderbilt 35

This game will be forever remembered as the most anxious game I have ever experienced. The Rebels opened the season against Vanderbilt, and debuted their new top five signing class. The game was dominated by Laquon Treadwell, but Jeff Scott would be the hero in this matchup.

Down by 3, the Rebels were trying to get into field goal range, but Jeff Scott decided to take it all the way to the house, giving the Rebels a 4 point lead. This is one of the best plays in Ole Miss history in my opinion.

This victory will go down as one of my favorites. But in the grand scheme, the game did not mean much. But the Rebels did make it to the Music City Bowl later in the season.
