Ole Miss had just come off of a horrible loss to Arkansas, which would mean the Rebels would not win the SEC West. It was the only loss the Rebels suffered in the SEC West.

But after a BYE week, the Rebels were ready to face the Tigers, who themselves had a two losing streak going on. The Rebels put a stop to Leonard Fournette and the Tigers, jumping out to a 24-0 lead by the second quarter.

Mike Hilton explained the game plan after the victory.

“Our goal was to make them one-dimensional.”

Well, the Rebels did just that.
