Jacob Phillips – 4-star LB / Nashville, TN

Ole Miss has already received commitments from 3-star LB Josh Clarke and 4-star LB Willie Gay for the 2017 class and look to add to it. The linebacker position is one of need for Ole Miss, one that Coach Freeze and crew have struggled recruiting in the past.

Phillips is a quick linebacker with good eyes. If he gets into the right system, he could be a star. Ole Miss is recruiting him hard. Expect the Rebels to give everything they have into snagging Phillips.

Phillips recently received an award for being the best LB at the Rivals Top 100 challenge.

Recruiting expert Tucker Italiano tells me that Josh Clarke is planning on recruiting Phillips to Ole Miss.

This 6’3″ linebacker visited Ole Miss in April.
