Aaron Barrett – RHP – Washington Nationals

Barrett’s update is a short one. He has not pitched all season. He underwent Tommy John surgery in the offseason and is recovering from the procedure.

While recovering, Barrett is on the teams 60-day disabled list. He has been working out of the bullpen for the Nationals. A team that needs help in that facet. The Nationals are in a pennant race right now and are in the lead for the NL East.

They will have some competition with the Marlins and Mets this year for the division. Barrett could return late this season, but I imagine he will be shut down until next season.
