The turn of the century has brought some great football players to the Ole Miss campus. I’ve compiled my version of an All-Millennial Team.

The recent success of the Ole Miss Rebels on the football field has fostered debates about the greatest players in Rebel history. Those debates are great for dinner time conversation, but usually there is no resolution. It is nearly impossible to compare players of today to those of earlier eras.

So I’ve decided to look back over the past 16 years and come up with my version of a Ole Miss Rebel All-Millennial Team. Now I must tell you that there is no scientific data used. I didn’t interview the great sports minds of our generation. I didn’t go through 5,000 hours of game tape. When I think about the countless games I’ve watched and attended over the past 16 years, this team is the team I would put together. It’s just that simple.

There will be some guys on the list that have put up tremendous numbers. But this team is not just about statistics. I selected some members because of their leadership ability combined with their play on the field. There will be great players I omitted for a variety of reasons. There’s also a little information on some of the players.  Again, this is the team I would put on the field to take on any other All-Millennial team.
