Ole Miss ranked 12th in Football Coaches Poll

Ole Miss football will begin the season ranked 12th in the Amway Coaches Poll. The Rebels are one of six SEC teams ranked.
Ole Miss will start it’s 2016 football season ranked 12th in the Amway Coaches Poll. The Rebels are ranked behind only Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee within the SEC. Ole Miss will kick off the season against number four Florida State on September 5th. The Rebels will also be making a trip to number six LSU on October 22nd. Ole Miss will host back-to-back ranked teams on September 17th and 24th, playing number one Alabama and number 16 Georgia, respectively.
It is important to note that the Amway Coaches Poll has no bearing on the College Football Playoff Committee’s selection on the four team playoff that will be decided on December 4th.
