Brandon Harris | LSU

There are only a few teams returning an experience starter. The LSU Tigers are one of those teams. The belief by many is that the Tigers have the kind of team that can make a run at an SEC West title. Therefore, they will have a shot at a National Title.

Their offense runs through their Heisman Award contender, running back Leonard Fournette. However, LSU’s ultimate success hinges on the arm of their junior quarterback, Brandon Harris. Harris had a moderately successful year last year. But he did not perform up to the level he needed to in order for LSU to contend at the level they are used to.

He is surrounded by a bevy of talented receivers. Therefore, Harris should see an improvement from last years numbers. He has gain valuable experience starting every game last year. Reports out of Baton Rouge is that he had a good Spring.

He appears to be more comfortable with the offensive play-calling. Although his claims of having the best arm in college football may be a bit far fetch, he has seemed to improved tremendously from previous years. However, the proof will be in the pudding. He will have to demonstrate it in-game one against Wisconsin.
