The Ole Miss football team will be wearing the white uniform tops with the red stripes for the opening game against Florida State.

Ken Crain, the head equipment manager for Ole Miss football, announced that the team will be wearing white tops with red stripes against Florida State.
The historic look has been worn by the Rebels for decades.
The team has not announced the full uniform combination for the game yet. That announcement usually comes the Friday before the game.
The first question many Rebel fans asked was “are we wearing powder blue?” The iconic helmet color that the Rebel donned three times last season is a fan favorite.
On the Ole Miss schedule, it tells fans to wear powder blue when the team takes on Alabama, so I imagine they will wear the color for that matchup.
Another question waiting to be answered is what color pants will the team wear? Will they go with the traditional grey pants, or the new white pants with red stripes? I personally prefer the white pants with the white tops.
All of these questions should be answered next week.
This is the second time the two teams have met, the first and only other time was in 1961 when Ole Miss defeated the Seminoles 33-0.
This year’s game should be a closer matchup than that, but the Rebel faithful hopes that the team can pull out another victory over the Seminoles.
Florida State has yet to make a public announcement on the uniform they will wear, but I imagine they wear their usual home team combination.
