Five former NFL Rebels have made the NFL playoffs as the season comes to an end. The playoffs begin on January 7th.

As the NFL regular season comes to an end, five NFL Rebels prepare for the playoffs. The road the Super Bowl will go through New England and Dallas this year.

Brandon Bolden of the New England Patriots will receive a first-round bye in the playoffs this year. The former Rebel has been relegated to mostly special teams duty this season.

With the powerful combination of Blount and James White, New England has not needed Bolden on offense.

The Patriots will face Miami or the winner of the Oakland/Houston matchup in the second round.

Bradley Sowell and the Seattle Seahawks are one of the two teams to defeat New England this season. The Seahawks have earned the #3 seed in the NFC playoffs this season.

They will face the Detroit Lions in the first round of the playoffs. If Seattle wins, they will face the Atlanta Falcons in the second round.

Sowell has started 9 games this season for the Seahawks. He is their starting right tackle.

The most seasoned NFL Rebel in the playoffs this season would be two-time Super Bowl champion, Eli Manning.

Manning and the Giants have locked up the #5 seed in the NFC playoffs and will face the #4 seeded Green Bay Packers. If the Giants win this game, they will face Dallas or Atlanta in the second round.

Eli has had an up and down season this year. He threw for 4,027 yards with 26 TDs and 16 INTs.

Manning and the Giants have a reputation of sneaking into the NFL playoffs and then surprising some teams. Could this year be the same?

Well, for it to happen, Manning will have to receive protection from another former Rebel in John Jerry.

Jerry is the starting right guard for the Giants. The defense for New York has been the main key this season, but the offense will have to step up in the playoffs.

Lastly, rookie Laremy Tunsil and the Miami Dolphins snuck into the playoffs with a wild-card victory. The Dolphins will face #3 seed Pittsburgh in the wild card round and would face New England if they win that game.

Tunsil has recently stepped up for the Dolphins and shored up the left side of the line.
