Andy Kennedy is wrapping up his 11th year as the Ole Miss basketball head coach, and he has coached many of the greatest players in Ole Miss basketball history. Here is a look at the All-A.K. team. These are some of the best players to play under Kennedy.

Ole Miss basketball head coach Andy Kennedy, is the elder statesman among the coaches in the SEC. His longevity has both impressed some Rebel fans and has frustrated others. However, what is definitely impressive is some of the talent he has brought to Oxford.

So, before the Ole Miss faithful divide into their annual Pro-A.K./Anti-A.K. camps, let’s take a trip back in history. We are going to name the All-A.K. team. It’s time to see who deserves a spot as the greatest players to play at Ole Miss under Andy Kennedy. Ole Miss is short in tournament wins but we are not short in interesting players.

This team will consist of a starting five, divided into front-court and back-court. However instead of having a “receiving votes” category, we will have a bench. Kennedy has never had many complete teams, but he has had several good Ole Miss basketball players. This team was a little more difficult to compile than I anticipated. There will be some players on the bench you won’t agree with. That’s what makes for great conversation. So here we go.
