Ole Miss Football: More Rebels Land In Late Draft Rounds, One Big Surprise

After being happily surprised by Evan Engram being drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Ole Miss football fans waited. No selections from Ole Miss on Friday. In fact, it wouldn’t be until the draft’s final day when three other Rebels would hear their names called. Accordingly, three NFL teams got great players.

Of course, I and every other Ole Miss football fan believes they should have all gone higher in the draft than they did. However, these three players who did get picked are going to be great players. They were great players at Ole Miss and they will be for their selecting teams. Just to be able to say they were picked in the NFL draft is a huge achievement and the biggest accolade they can ever receive.

We all know they were team players and exceptional athletes while they were at Ole Miss. Not only did three great players get picked but there was the reasoning behind the picks these NFL organizations made. Right now let’s just take a look at the who, when,where and why of these three former Ole Miss players.
