Once again Ole Miss football fans were treated to a ‘Yahtzee’ tweet by coach Hugh Freeze. And once again, Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss football recruiting scored big with another huge out-of-state commitment.

Ole Miss football is always set ablaze by coach Hugh Freeze’s ‘Yahtzee’ tweets. It’s Hugh’s way of letting Rebel nation know ‘we got this’. Contrary to popular belief from TSBU, the sky is not falling on Ole Miss football by any means. No it’s business as usual for one of the best recruiting teams in the country.

Right now business is really good for Ole Miss football recruiting. It got even better with the recent commitment of Jaylin Williams of Germantown, Tennessee. The Germantown High School standout is a 3-star CB and is also ranked as the No.1 CB in the state of Tennessee. This is a huge get for the Ole Miss staff and the Ole Miss defense going forward. Lets look at what Williams brings to Ole Miss.

At 5’11” and 170 lbs, Williams is built like a prototypical SEC corner. Williams has an official time of 4.5 in the forty, however he looks much faster on tape.

Williams is a tall rangy defensive back with incredible vision. He tracks the ball really well in the air and has super fast closing speed on the play.

Williams is a very physical player and plays hard and fast. He always seems to be close to the play and never stops. There are no plays off for Jaylin Williams.

Williams was selected to The Commercial-Appeal Best of the Preps.

Although Williams plays both ways at Germantown, he will be solely on the defensive side of the ball at Ole Miss. As reported by Yancy Porter of OMSpirit,

"“That’s where I want to play. They like my open field tackling and how physical I play. They think I’m a true cover corner who has speed. They think I can make an impact early on the defensive side of the ball.” ~Jaylin Williams"

With his size and speed Ole Miss fans can expect to see Williams on the field sooner rather than later. With his talent I can see him making an immediate impact to the Ole Miss secondary. Williams is the 9th commit for Ole Miss and the 7th defensive commitment so far. Williams was also offered by MSU. Welcome to Ole Miss Jaylin!
