Everyone is aware Ole Miss football will not be bowl eligible this year. However, there will be other teams missing out on a bowl game. Why?  They will have a loss to Ole Miss, that’s why.

It is common knowledge that Ole Miss has self-imposed a bowl ban on the 2017 football season. We have discussed the NCAA investigation ad nauseam. However, the spirit among the Ole Miss football team is to ruin the party for others. They will strive to prevent other teams from making a bowl game.

The only thing which will make this year enjoyable will be making other teams wallow in the misery of not being bowl eligible. Several of our opponents will be teetering on the cusp of bowl eligibility. Therefore, the game against the Rebels will be an important game for them. We will love seeing them sad.

In most cases, you need six wins in order to be bowl eligible. Except in cases where there aren’t enough eligible teams to play in the bowl games. Then they will allow five win teams in based on academic qualifications. So with that being said, let’s jump into the list.
