1. North Dakota State

This one should really speak for itself, honestly. North Dakota State won five consecutive FCS National Championships from 2011-2015.

The bison just happen to have won six consecutive games against FBS opponents, and not small ones either. North Dakota State has defeated the likes of Iowa and Kansas State on the road, nonetheless.

ND State also recently had a quarterback, Carson Wentz, go in the first round of the NFL Draft.

The Bison are the Alabama of the FCS level. They are a well oiled machine and firmly believe they can beat anyone. ND State also happens to boast one of the best home field advantages in all of college football. The home field advantage they boast is probably why they never are scheduled as a home and home opponent.

North Dakota State would probably be a top-25 team at the FBS level, so why play them for your guaranteed win? Classifying North Dakota State as a cupcake is really not fair; they only are even under consideration due to being at the FCS level.
