More from Ole Miss Football

Jordan Wilkins was ruled academically ineligible last season, however he is back and ready to run. He is going to be a driving force behind the rushing attack for Ole Miss football this season. Why will he be the running back to break the 1000 yard barrier?

As a senior Jordan Wilkins has a chip on his shoulder and he has something to prove. There is no doubt he is a viscous rusher. He can power when he needs to and has speed in the open field.

Also, Jordan Wilkins will thrive in the super-fast paced offense which Ole Miss will run. New offensive coordinator Phil Longo is dedicated to a balanced attack.

The sheer increase in number of plays will also allow for running backs to shine against gassed defenses. Ole Miss doesn’t have a lot of running backs to begin with and I believe Wilkins will dominate the carry count as a starter. Good luck Jordan!
