Ole Miss football fans have been waiting for players to step up on the defense and make an impact. If we expect to see a resurgence in the Landshark D, it will mean new players making waves.

Ole Miss football was in desperate need this winter to fill the holes on the defensive side of the ball. Ranking 120th out of 128 teams in rush defense will just not make it in the SEC. Only ranking ahead of the likes of Rutgers and Nevada according to the NCAA.

Depth being an issue for the Rebs, they will have no choice but to start some incoming freshmen and JUCO transfers. Let’s take a look at four of those players who can make an immediate impact!
