Is Shea REALLY this good?

Once again a record held by Chad Kelly, I’m predicting will be broken by Shea. Chad Kelly had an unbelievable year in 2015, a year that was magical for Ole Miss. The Rebs were led by Kelly, which leads him to break the total offense record with a total of 4,542 yards. Completely demolishing Bo Wallace record at 3,701 total yards.

So why do I think Shea can dethrone one of the arguably best QB in Ole Miss history? Simple, he can sling the ball down field and is a better runner than Kelly. With 3 games last year Shea averaged 350 yards of total offense a game. Now, this wouldn’t break it but I see nothing but improvement. Patterson will have matured, the team will be more unified and let’s face it, at the end of the season last year the team just gave up.

Next: 2107 will be awesome!

This record is the one that will be the most impressive in my eyes if Patterson can break it. Am I high on Shea, or giving him unrealistic expectations? Possibly but, that’s the fun in predicting. We will find out September 2nd when Ole Miss host South Alabama!
