Ole Miss football is close, very close. Ole Hotty Toddy is super excited and ready to make a few predictions for the opening weekend of SEC football.

With Ole Miss football just under a week away excitement around Ole Hotty Toddy is in overdrive. Rebels are ready to play ball and we are ready to see this team on the field. Of course, this is the narrative throughout the SEC as fans across the south look forward to seeing their teams finally in action.

I know it sounds strange for Ole Miss football fans to look forward to this season. Although we’ve been written off by most college football pundits, this Ole Miss team is going to be very special. Of course, at this point we are all undefeated and believe our school will be the very best in the SEC.

While every team dreams of going 12-0 in the regular season it’s not realistic within the SEC. Each week there are great teams which will cut the legs out from under each other. Of course, week one of the season is different. Many teams have cupcakes scheduled so they can get off to a fast start. However, there are a few teams which will fall in the opening week. Let’s get started with the winners and losers in week one of the season.
