As an Ole Miss football fan I’m highly upset by the way this entire ugly NCAA investigation/fiasco has gone down. It’s a pitiful and blatant example of what’s wrong with the NCAA. Of course, OHT wants to help so we have a proposal.

We are always looking for a way to make college football better at Ole Miss. Just look at the past three years. We desperately tried our best to derail Alabama. Instead of the rest of the conference following suit and helping out, no you pointed the finger at Ole Miss. You wanted to blame us for being better than every other team in the conference.

Two consecutive seasons and a first-half we dominated the best team in the nation and this is the thanks we get, smh. This is 2017 and we know by now, every team gets away with whatever they can when it comes to getting players to grace the halls of their IPF. To assume Ole Miss did anything any different from any other SEC school is ludicrous. We all know by now, in this case, there are obvious cases of wrongdoing by all parties.

This case was a misfire for the NCAA from the very beginning. Enter Chris Howard and his racial agenda. Enter Sheridan and his anti-Ole Miss agenda and anybody could see the NCAA was out for blood from the University of Mississippi. As bad as it is for Ole Miss football there is a simple solution.

The Solution

Ole Miss Rebels Football
Ole Miss Rebels Football

Ole Miss Rebels Football

As long as there is a rivalry between schools there will always be accusations of one school doing something nefarious when it comes to recruiting.

Some of us older college football fans can remember accusations against other teams which basically were brushed under the table. The majority of them fall on Bama while Auburn and Barry Bowden were getting screwed. Obviously there is a problem.

For every problem there is a solution. Ole Hotty Toddy has a simple one. With the billions of dollars the NCAA produces each year, place an opposing media figure in charge of each Power 5 school. Come on NCAA, you already did it with Ole Miss and Steve Robertson. It obviously works.

For example, pay me to sit in an office in Baton Rouge and look for red flags. I mean if I sat in a rivals IPF for five years I bet I could find something wrong. But of course, that would dig into the monopoly which has become the NCAA.

The NCAA pays its board millions of dollars a year to invoke rulings upon fair play. However, many of these officials already make millions from other positions. For example, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey will make in excess of 2.3 million this year. Now, you have a kid who comes from nothing and has football ability and you are making millions of dollars a year off his ability. Yet he can have nothing more than an unfair stipend.

In Closing

As long as the NCAA continues to generate billions and there are high school players soliciting money and inducements from multiple schools there will be issues. Until the NCAA invests some of its earnings back into its operation then there will be shadiness. How many times has Bama been beaten in the past three years by Ole Miss?

Next: Nuke The NCAA!

It’s a strange coincidence Ole Miss would be sitting in Kentucky trying to save a program while Bama is still being Bama. Of course, the arrangement between Saban, Emmert and Sankey is much stronger than any relationship Ole Miss has with any former recruit or player. Hotty Toddy!
