Ole Miss Football: Five Things We Want To See Against Vandy

More Rushing

Ole Miss football fans have been wanting to see more of a rushing game from coach Phil Longo. Ole Miss has failed to establish much more than a glimmer of a rushing game in the three losses we’ve had thus far. In Auburn only 30 out of 81 plays were dedicated to the running game. We need to be just a bit more balanced on offense.

Of course, Jordan Wilkins has been running hard and putting up good numbers. However, I’d really like to see Jordan used more in the Vandy game. I believe the more touches he gets the more yardage in he can generate on the ground. With him being the hottest back in the past two games, I believe he should be in that 20+ carries category.
