So far we’ve seen the Ole Miss offense go fast, but we want to see it go even faster. when this offense controls the momentum of the game then they stand a better chance at victory. How fast is fast for this Ole Miss offense, By our best guess Ole Miss has a TOP average of 23+ minutes a game. If we happen to figure that by an average number of plays per game then we see how fast Ole Miss football is moving.

In the Auburn game OM had 82 plays. In the Vandy game Ole Miss had 74 plays. For the sake of argument we’ll assume an average over the past two games as 78 plays per game. This interprets into Ole Miss running a play every 17.6 seconds.

Of course, we want to see Ole Miss stick with the formula which suits them best. That’s going fast. Well, not just going fast but going super-fast. From an offense which ignores speed limits, I’m guessing a play every 11 seconds is not too much to ask.
