This past week and also the Auburn game head coach Matt Luke and his staffed improved in one very visible area, sideline enthusiasm. It’s been a long time since I remember a Ole Miss staff and sideline geared up. There was an obvious enthusiasm in the Auburn game and the second-half success carried over to the Vandy game. We obviously want to see it again this afternoon.
This team is committed to this season and also have dedicated themselves to their head coach. The easiest way to motivate this football team is give them obstacles. They’ve been put thru the ringer with more than their fair share of issues and distractions. However, they’ve stuck together. This team is fired up right now and is on the right track when they follow the attitude of the coaching staff.
This team realizes they can win with this staff and really want to see interim head coach Matt Luke succeed. If Luke continues to control the attitude of this team they’ll be hard to beat when they meet LSU later today.
The 106th meeting between the Ole Miss Rebels and LSU Tigers will kickoff this evening at 6:15pm CT from Vaught_hemingway Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN. Hotty Toddy!
