Well it’s time to grade out Ole Miss football for the LSU game this past Saturday. Don’t expect much fluff with these grades.

With every Ole Miss football game we can expect grades. Although the grades had started looking better from week to week, they once again slipped with the 40-24 loss to the LSU Tigers. The Rebels looked pretty good the first half and the game was close. However, Ole Miss let LSU run away with the game, literally.

The LSU Tigers put up 593 yards to total offense against the hapless Ole Miss Rebels defense. The majority of it coming on the ground behind the power running of Derrius Guice who had 276 yards rushing on 22 carries. Of course, the Rebels tried to exchange FGs for TDs with LSU but let the gap in scoring continue in the second half.

Grading out a loss is never fun and especially not when you’ve seen improvements in recent weeks. Of course, we are Ole Miss and these things seem to happen to us on a regular basis lately. So lets not waste anymore time and get down to the brass tacks.
