After a dismal season Ole Miss football fans will see some new faces around the program in Oxford. OHT has a few candidates we would like to see on the sidelines.

In late July, when former Ole Miss football head coach Hugh Freeze resigned, Matt Luke was named interim head coach for the 2017 season. With NCAA sanctions looming and some tough losses it’s been a rough year for the team and the Ole Miss fans. Now, with a 6-6 record and no football left to build a resume on Matt Luke’s days as an interim head coach are over. Whether he winds up as the next Ole Miss head coach remains to be seen although there have been rumors.

Of course, it’s been one of the most tumultuous seasons in memory for coaches in the SEC. There are numerous vacancies which will have to be filled and filled quickly. OHT has compiled a list of potential head coaches we would like to see on the Ole Miss sideline in the future. Some of these coaches have been around for a while and may have a little baggage. OHT doesn’t expect each and everyone to agree with our list and it’s in no particular order. Let’s get started.
