Lane Kiffin

Lane Kiffin is one of the coaches listed here who comes with a certain amount of baggage. Of course, we all know how he left the University of Tennessee in the middle of the night for the head coaching gig at Southern Cal.

After being fired at Southern Cal he was the offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide before taking the head coaching spot at Florida Atlantic. Kiffin has compiled a 44-24 record as a head coach on the college level and a 5-15 record in the NFL.

Kiffin is an offensive genius and has coached some of the best players on both levels. He is also a tremendous recruiter like his brother Chris Kiffin who was formally defensive line coach at Ole Miss. Chris is now the defensive coordinator for Lane at Florida Atlantic. This season Kiffin has coached the Florida Atlantic Owls to a 9-3 season. The Owls are 1st place in the C-USA East.
