With each passing season it seems as though more and more Ole Miss football players are making their move into the NFL Combine.

The Ole Miss football program has seen its fair share of great NFL players over the years. Each year there is always a strong showing from Ole Miss players who are making that jump from the collegiate level to the NFL. Of course, the annual NFL Combine allows players to showcase their skills to the toughest critics in football. The methodical evaluation of players by NFL scouts can make or break the draft stock a player can have.

One can recall last season where former Ole Miss tight-end Evan Engram showed up at the NFL Combine and did very well. Where some pundits had originally had Engram going after the middle of the second round, Evan went in the first round. Because of a stellar performance at the NFL Combine Engram’s draft stock jumped. Of course, the NFL Combine means a lot to the players and to the NFL teams who evaluate them.

Of course, the 2018 NFL Combine invited four Ole Miss Rebels to come and show the NFL what they can offer a team. Former running back Jordan Wilkins, defensive end Marquis Haynes, offensive lineman Rod Taylor and defensive tackle Breeland Speak all made the trip to Indy for the event. Naturally the weekend event gave NFL scouts a chance to see how well they performed in the variety of activities.
