With the 2018 NFL Draft just over a month away we are already seeing projections being made for the Ole Miss football players who are in the mix.

The 2018 NFL Draft will begin April 26th and four more former Ole Miss football players will be listening to hear their names called. As Ole Miss fans we all know the history of great players who have made their mark in the NFL. This year’s draft will feature four former Rebels who we all know can, and most likely will, be great professional players. Of course, with the draft just weeks away there are already a lot of pundits making their projections.

Running-back Jordan Wilkins, offensive lineman Rod Taylor, and defensive linemen Marquis Haynes and Breeland Speaks all recently attended the 2018 NFL Combine. All four Rebels did remarkably well in Indy and all made an impact on the NFL scouts in attendance. Of course, every year we watch to see how the players perform and we try to be unbiased as fans. It’s easy to say a player looked really good when the scouts see that player as average.

However, there are always those players who deliver well enough to show potential, the scouts are pleased and the players draft stock goes up. Of course, we saw this in the 2017 NFL Combine with Evan Engram. Engram was projected as a middle to late second round pick but he excelled at the Combine and was drafted in the first round by the New York Giants. All of this years draft worthy Rebels had really good combines and all increased their draft stock. Let’s take an early look at where these four Rebels are expected to land and make a few predictions.
